Do I get an extra 90 days permission to stay when a tourist visa converts to a "non B teacher" visa?

My school is telling me yes, but I can't seem to find it documented anywhere. I'm just nervous and don't want to scramble last minute if this isn't true.

Details:

I'm USA passport. On a 60 day eVisa.

After they help me get converted to non-B, they will apply for work permit.

I am an Indian, a job offer holder (for a Teacher’s position in Thailand ), willing to fly to Thailand ASAP. Can somebody walk me through the guidelines of where to start and where to finish?

The reason I’m asking for this is because the last time I checked online and on phone with semi commercial Flight and government booking option for the flights from India to Thailand, everywhere it said there were no flights, while the embassy doesn’t have any working phone number(they mention the number everywhere but none connect ever, I’ve been trying for last couple of months now)

3 days back I suddenly see a post on embassies website stating the next flight is on 14th (today) and 19th November.

It’s all so confusing! Where are these flights being booked ?

Before applying for non-b visa I need flights booked n then only I can book a flight(as per what’s written there)

But it seems some people are booking COE first (is it even possible?), and on announcement of next flight they book a flight.

Somebody, Kindly help ?

P.s.

1. I hope we are aware there’s a fully paid ticket /itenary required to apply for visa. If not kindly refer ([members only] or Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi)

2. Please read my query properly and then respond. Don’t respond with half attention just because you’re bored and don’t know what else to do lol

3. N please don’t get personal n offensive and attacking in personal messages. Let’s be open for sharing information n not just preaching one way. Thanks 🙏

4. There are no agents involved - I’ve been to the school, plus my employer is my friend who is already teaching in the same school.

6. No travel agents involved. I’m only following Royal Thai embassy’s official website and web page and the minimal responses which I received from them over their official email.

If only you know what you’re talking about please then only respond. Thank you !

Hi there, I’m asking a question on behalf of my partner who is from the UK (he doesn’t have facebook). He is working as a teacher in Bangkok employed full time (work permit etc). He lives in bangkok with me in my condo. And only returns to england a few weeks a year to visit family - his question is - is he supposed to pay any kind of UK tax on his thai earnings - or is he exempt from UK tax until he moves back and gets employment there. So if he were to transfer money from his thai account to UK account - HMRC wouldnt be questioning the source of funds ?

Many thanks.
