I’ve read that the Ranong border is open now. Can someone affirm they were given a 45day stamp there this month?

Hello.

I arrived from Bali this month and got stamp 45 days (not VOA).

That’s a new thing with Russia, 45 instead of usual 30 days stamp on arrival. And I also have read in some reliable sources that it’s possible to make a 30 days extension (instead of usual 7 days). Is anyone experienced to make this extension in Bangkok?

Also want to ask, should I go to chaengwattana main building or to Laksi branch

Hello, thank you for accepting my request to join the group. I hope to be able to contribute in the weeks and years to come. For now I have a question. I’m currently quarantining in Bangkok with my wife and daughter and I eventually will be applying for a retirement visa. But to buy some more time I want to apply for a 60 day Covid extension.

I arrived on VOA with a 45 day stamp.

Do you know when I get a 60 day Covid extension for my family and I, will the extension begin 60 days from the expiration date on the VOA stamp OR 60 days from the day I get the extension at Thai Immigration? Thank you for your help and your valuable time! Only 3 more days of quarantine !!! Woo Hoo !!!
