Hi folk, do we have 7 days validation to leave Thailand after canceling the long term visa please?
Do we have this right by default or we should pay for it?
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
After canceling your long-term visa, you typically have until 11:59 PM on the same day to leave Thailand unless you apply for an extension of stay. If denied, you may receive a 7-day extension stamp that requires you to exit the country within that period. The current rules can vary, especially during COVID-19, where some immigration offices are granting additional extensions due to travel difficulties.
I understand once you get the 7 day extension of stay denied stamp, you have to leave the country. Most immigration offices are not even selling the 7 day extension of stay denied stamp yet; they may in the future.

GO ask at your local immigration office. I have not seen any 7 day "get outta dodge" stamps issued during the amnesty BUT seeing as amnesty ends on Saturday they could start back up
, I think IF you got one of those extension denied 7 days to get out, it's not a "find a job in a week apply for a new visa/extension" stamp. it's a you got a week to get OUT of the country.

If you are currently on amnesty, you have until October 31 to leave or to get another extension of stay. Some immigration offices seem to be selling a 60 day extension of stay because of inability to travel due to COVID-19.
During normal times, when an extension of stay is cancelled, you have until 11:59pm the same day to leave Thailand. If you apply for another extension of stay, and the immigration officer agrees to accept the extension of stay request, it will be denied and you will get an extension of stay denied stamp. This will let you stay another 7 days. Like all extension of stay requests, this cost 1,900 THB.
The immigration office almost always allows a person to request an extension knowing that it will be denied for extension of stay based on employment. Some immigration offices do not allow a person to apply for the denied stamp on tourist visas.
