If someone applies for the DTV using a soft power category and recieves the visa, and decides (for whatever reason) NOT to do soft power activity, so you feel they can to be refunded the course fee that they paid?

Question - if my DTV visa (muay thai) is still processing while I enter Thailand, as my flight is coming up in the next few days and its still processing with London embassy - will that cause the visa to be rejected? or can I still receive it, but it wont be valid until next time I leave and re-enter thailand? thank you!!

Hello, has anybody submitted bank account history in a language other than English ? My bank only allow me to download statements in Polish.

I remember several years ago the Thai embassy requested a bank statement in English when I applied for a tourist visa. Do I need to translate balance and transaction history ?

Asking for my partner: he is a Dutch citizen registered as a “world traveler.” In this case, he moves around and never stays in any country for more than 3 months. Since he does not live in the Netherlands, he is exempt from paying taxes there.

If he stays in Thailand for more than 180 days per year, how does this affect his tax obligations?

Hey guys, does anyone know if it's possible to travel to Thailand with new passport and a DTV issued on the old passport? The old passport punched to make it invalid by the embassy when the new passport was issued and returned back since it contains valid visas.

I know in many countries you can travel with both old and new passports and the visas in old passport is considered valid, but not sure how it is in Thailand. Is it required to transfer DTV to the new passport before travelling?

Thanks for your replies.

For DTV workaction, what do company registration documents mean(for a USA company)? Does it mean "articles of incorporation"? Does an online pdf document from Delaware corporation work? What did rest of you submit when embassy asked for it?([members only])

You guys said I couldn’t get it in Taipei 🙂 but I did. DTV acquired.

It’s a same day turn around depending on your paperwork. They will DEFINITELY interview you and grill you as they aren’t as lenient as people say

At least not for me.

I ended up providing my financial statements of 6 months in one bank account

Invoices from TikTok and Meta plus entertainment contracts.

Articles in the media showing that I have performed with major celebrities

And I had to login / show my Instagram and TikTok account proving I do what I do for work

And they denied the medical soft power due to them not being able to find the doctor on the website so whatever

My wife and i plan on moving to thailand next year ( retirement ) first on a visa exempt ( we are from america ) then getting the non o visa once there, then extending it , my question is how do or can i open a bank account in thailand to deposit the 800000 for each of us on a visa exempt, or would it be easier to use a visa agent or agency. I already own a condo we bought 2 years ago.
