Can i buy a business on a tourist visa?

I filled out the Evisa to request 12 months, got an appointment and went to the office. They gave a 30 day extension. How do we get a 12 month stay?

Anyone having trouble with the online TM47 (90 day reporting) site (at [members only])​?

I would like to know how I can get the maximum amount of time that I can stay in thailand using the Multi entry Tourist Visa . Each entry is stamped for 60days, and if I time the last exit and reenter before the validity of METV expires, I reckon I could get about 8 months .. can anyone suggest a better way ? Does anyone know if the funds to be deposited for various visas (800,000 baht, etc.) must be placed in a Thai bank savings account? Or can they be invested in a Thai bank fund account (or savings plus funds)? I understand that the total holdings cannot fall below the minimum threshold (400,000 baht, etc.). TIA
