yeah to get there I just flew from Bangkok. You can do visa run buses from Pattaya to Cambodian border too but I’m not sure how easy it is getting the right dtv stamp on a land crossing.

Yes. Get a Thai bank account and you can pay anything that is QR pay, which is very convenient if you live here and travel around a lot.

A lot of people talk in this group that don’t live here and have hardly traveled here. The internet is not the best place for all this info. If you want to know about working and immigration here, go see a Thailand attorney. They will have all clarity and it isn’t expensive compared to the costs of moving here.

look at things like this. YouTube is 1000x better resource for travel information. So many of these people in groups hardly even travel here or have never been here lol. Trust me, I live here, I'm trying to help. Watch a night of YouTube videos on Bangkok and a night of videos on Phuket. Watch a night of do and don't while in Thailand. It's fun easy and reliable information when you watch many sources.

YouTube contains first hand information exactly as Facebook does but with video proof. Look up people like Paddy Doyle. Facebook is literally net information but with less proof and reliability. 🤣 If you're reading this, you're on the "net".

You might want to spend a little time researching the country, weather and everything else. It’s better if you have some kind of idea of what to expect and what you want to do. YouTube can be a great resource if you’re not super internet savvy. Look up Thailand trip videos to get ideas.
