i was rejected yesterday in Hanoi as well for soft power… This was there response to asking if they could help me understand the reason.

Such considerations remain solely under our discretion, and the Embassy reserves the rights to cancel or reject any visa applications as deemed necessary without further explanation. Any applicant is entitled to reapply for a visa. If the new visa application is in line with our rules and regulations, it will be duely considered.
