Last month, I extended my DTV (workcation) without any form of hassle.

It's done the same day. Did mine in less than 4 hours (mainly waiting my turn).

Just go with the documents listed on the Bangkok immigration website + 1 4x4 picture + TDAC + lease agreement+ TM30 + previous TM47.

They will give you a number then you wait for your turn.

When you are called, they will ask you to show them:

- the sentence in your contract which clearly states that you are allowed to work online AND outside of your country ;

- a 01-month bank statement with at least 500K baht.

That's it. After that, you pay 1900 bahts, they take your picture and you wait a few minutes, the time for them to stamp your passport.
