I recently applied as a dependent (with my husband being the DTV holder) and showed my husbands thai bank statements (3 months worth) and the money (500K baht) had been in his account for the whole time AND a letter of financial support HOWEVER they did request further documentation that the money (£11,000) had to be in an account in MY name...

Fortunately between myself, my mum and my MIL we had it all transferred to one account to show the final balance as £11,000. I had to have the bank statements printed and a "wet stamp" from the branch!
