What happens to my DTV visa if I switch to a work permit and if I change employers?

1) You will have to cancel the DTV and it is gone forever. There is no pause button.

2) Changing jobs should have no effect on anything. I would however suggest you get a letter from the new company stating you are allowed to work remotely from Thailand. There is a 95+% chance you will never be questioned or asked to prove anything, but it's just a letter so why not have it, just in case?
