Been heaps of info regarding it on various Thailand Facebook pages, Airlines probably don't care because if you forget or don't do it then you do it on arrival and delay your exit from the airport.

you go online and complete the details. The TDAC is required from May 1 and goes live on 28 April

Sorry I thought if you were a resident you selected Thailand not your home country passport.

I am sure that's why they added Thailand as a choice.

Got more hope of bank account with a Non O visa than a tourist visa these days, even then still may need to try a few banks.

You can not extend a tourist visa more than one time.

Are you confused with the 90 day Non O visa which can keep being extended.

Tourist visa are 60 days plus 30 extension. I have not heard of a 90 day tourist visa.

Non O 90 days from Thai Embassy Australia. Then if you can meet financial requirements you can get another year and keep getting year after year if you keep meet the requirements

Note: After the first 90 days and on extension of stay to leave and come back you need to buy a multiple entry permit.
