Positive way to increase tourism NOT, oh but wait they will drop visa costs..lol many countries do not need a visa we get 30 days visa exempt so no saving at all.

Sydney ask for less as well :) did for 5 year anyway. I did Tr60 in Sydney in November and 5 year in March

Agree I renewed mine to 5 year ones and they were expired 2 years cost to do myself was just 760baht

Normally they require insurance for the period of the visa. But its been known they only stamp you in for the period of insurance. So if only 3 months they may only stamp you in for 3 months. Others may help, this is just what I have read in the past not from personal experience
