Definitely apply again and make use of your 80 page portfolio!

The cancellation is due to your passport number being incorrect and not your application generally. It’s a shame this happens and you can’t amend the mistake. It has happened to so many people.

- You’ll have to pay again unfortunately and you can’t appeal.

- Yes you can apply the same as before under workcation if you have all that proof

- Apply in HK if it’s easier for you (search the group for info about HK, I think it takes a bit longer than other embassies), otherwise if you can and want to travel you can go to Vietnam or Bali and apply from there without being a resident. Vietnam is pretty cheap, I applied from Hanoi and travelled around Vietnam while I waited.

For your next application, check everything many times, for me, my entries in the form would change after I saved and re-visited.

Search the group for the embassy you intend to apply from and see what others submitted and their success stories / issues.
