Do immigration officers in Bangkok ask for bank statements when entering with a DTV visa for the first time?

It is within their authority to do so at any entry (really they can request all up to date documents if they so choose) but that hasn’t really been reported as happening.

There’s a not 0 chance they ask if you look like you have no money and no ability to support yourself but I’d say it’s very unlikely.
