French citizens can enter Thailand without a visa for a maximum stay of 30 days if they meet the following conditions:
1. Hold a valid French passport with at least 6 months' validity
2. Enter Thailand through an international airport or designated land border crossing
3. Have proof of onward travel (flight ticket, bus ticket, etc.)
4. Have proof of sufficient funds (THB 10,000 or equivalent, approximately EUR 280)
5. Have a valid address in Thailand (hotel booking, etc.)
Note: This visa exemption is for tourism purposes only. If you plan to stay longer than 30 days or for other purposes (work, study, etc.), you must apply for a relevant visa at the Thai Embassy or Consulate before your trip.
Also, French citizens can apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa (valid for 60 days) or a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (valid for 6 months) if they wish to stay longer or travel to Thailand multiple times.
Please verify the information with the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate before your trip to ensure you have the most up-to-date requirements.
