Exactly. In Switzerland tourists cannot open bank accounts. Regardless if willing to buy insurance or not. So I don't see the big deal

A friend of mine does it that way.

He rents a house and register his guests

You still need the tm30 document the hotel provides for you

Hotel will do it online and give you a printout or screenshot.

This you have to show to immigration

So refrain from giving out wrong information🤦🏻
