You can do it behalf your landlord. And they have to sign documents aswell but in the future you can always register yourself by going to immigration.

He can check in a hotel and get the form. It really does not take long anymore.

I just did it 2 days ago.

Idk how many years ago you did it.

But it is not very time consuming now to make it worth paying 4000b

For Covid-Extentions yes it was worth it.

But not regular extentions

If they take your passport and tell you to come back next day... even better.

Then you only spend about 15 Minutes

It's same for everybody.

They give you appointment now. It was not more than 1.5 hours.

1.5 hours for 4000b I will even work in my own country for that money

I did it myself yesterday before. Jomtien. It is so easy. You can pay 200b and they fill out the form for you. Make copies, foto everything. Outside immigration. All you need is TM30 form.

Paying 4000b is nonsense

Either you are a citizen of the country and are entiteled for a passport or not.
