TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your stay in Thailand for an additional 30 days at immigration, you will need to provide the following documents: your passport, 1,900 Baht, a completed application form (available at the immigration office), one passport photo (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm), a photocopy of the main page of your passport, and a photocopy of the page with your current visa stamp. Additionally, it's advisable to bring proof of your accommodation (like a booking), as well as the TM30 document, regardless of your accommodation type.

You not always need TM30, I extended 2 times at Hat Yai, they did not ask for TM30.

I never did one for 10 years but then they started clamping down. My local office is quiet so it's easy to do.

The owner of the building is responsible for reporting a foreigner staying at his property within 24 hours of arrival. He/she will need the blue book house registration, ID card and your passport. If this has not been done I suggest you check into a cheap hotel for a couple of nights before you apply for the extension. Even though it is the building owners responsibility they will fine you so cheaper to stay in a hotel.

That's is not true. Hotels register you online. That is why they photo copy your passport when you check in. Immigration may want to see your proof of booking.

You still need the tm30 document the hotel provides for you

Hotel will do it online and give you a printout or screenshot.

This you have to show to immigration

So refrain from giving out wrong information🤦🏻

I find it amusing people always so go early, either so early you have an imaginary queue, or end up in the massive queue because people always say this, and I go in afternoons no problem haha
