A friend of mine does it that way.

 You still need the tm30 document the hotel provides for you

Hotel will do it online and give you a printout or screenshot.

This you have to show to immigration

So refrain from giving out wrong information🤦🏻

I would go to a Bangkok Bank in Pattaya and open it there.

Apparently they still let you open if you buy insurance from them.
