This is what I did in Phetchabun, fairly easy and straight forward but as with all things in Thailand lots of signed copies of documents required and a map of how to get to our house from the immigration office for a O retirement visa. Strange.
Can you apply for the new 10 year retirement visa once you are in Thailand on the Type O visa. I am over 50, can meet the financial requirements and have been married to a Thai Lady since 2003 she has been a naturalized British citizen for a few years. My wife has property in Thailand and goes back once every 2 years. I have not been to Thailand since I left in February 2004 after spending 4 years there. We wish to retire to Thailand spending
