Help - anxious about entry in May 2026, am I overthinking?
Hello everyone,
I’m a 19-year-old Italian passport holder and I’m feeling a bit anxious about my upcoming trip to Thailand. I tend to overthink things, so I’d really appreciate some honest opinions.
My intended arrival is 11 May 2026, planning to stay 55 days, travelling around different areas of Thailand that I genuinely want to explore.
Here is my previous travel history (all under Visa Exemption scheme):
• December 2024 – 22 days (11 of those were in January 2025)
• April 2025 – 13 days
• June 2025 – 56 days
After the 56-day stay, I went to Penang, Malaysia for about 9 days, then returned to Thailand for another 19 days.
I exited Thailand on 15 September 2025 and came back to home country as usual.
The Malaysia trip was the only time in my life I’ve done anything remotely similar to a “border run”, it wasn’t something I regularly do, just part of my travel plans at the time.
If I return on 11 May 2026, it will have been 7 months and 26 days outside Thailand since my last exit.
I’ve never overstayed, never worked illegally, and I always have onward tickets and accommodation. I’m just a genuine traveller who enjoys the country a lot… but reading Reddit and Facebook groups about people being denied entry has made me a bit anxious.
Based on this history, should I realistically be worried about re-entering in May 2026?
Thank you in advance, I really appreciate any insight.
I'll be getting a MULTIPLE Non immigrant Visa TYPE "O" based on marriage at SAVANNAKHET, LOA on the 28th.
I know that I have got to leave the country every 90 days.
Just a question, I will be leaving the country at KAP CHOENG every time.
Will it be OK as I heard that the immigrant officers are very strict when you leave the country at the same port numerous times in succession ???? I am feeling very anxious.
