What should I do if my DTV is associated with an expired passport and I'm experiencing issues with visa stamps in Thailand?

This happened to me recently.

London embassy refused to transfer visa to new passport.

Visa company wanted to charge me 3k to fix the incorrect stamp.

I went back to the airport myself with both my old and new passports and they fixed the incorrect stamp, no questions asked, no money paid
