absolutely! There's a really nice Cambodian owned and run hotel there, can't remember the name but look for it. Really nice and not too expensive. Find yourself a really good tuktuk driver and they will take you out the whole day to see all the temples, for next to nothing, and he was so good and had ice cold water for us all day long, waited whenever we stopped for pictures, wasn't rushed, I think I sent one of his kids to college when I tipped him a hundred bucks US dollar.

He made our day and I made his!

School age children, angkor wat is pretty dam cool, Cambodia, short flight. Also the temple there has a great history lesson on pol pot and you can teach them about brutal dictators and why being free is a blessing.
