Then doesn't my Non-B expire? Can't I not extend a non-b if its not a non-b anymore but a covid extension

An update, I have been backdated into SSO. But I won't get the reciept until December 12. Thats almost 2 weeks overstay. Am I totally screwed? And if so, should I just apply for a covid extension and try again?
