I did a 90 day report on Nov 4. My Non B was renewed for a year on Dec 4th.

Does that count as a reset of my visa or am I now a month late for my 90 day reporting?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you renew your Non-B visa, it does not automatically reset your 90-day reporting requirement unless you receive a new reporting slip with a new date from the immigration officer. If you did not receive a new slip during your renewal, you should continue to use the date from your original 90-day reporting receipt for your next report. If that date has passed without reporting, you are now considered late.

This comes up a LOT and we will go over the fool proof way to tell if your immigration office "reset" your 90 day report when you get an extension.

When you are leaving the immigration office after getting your year extension ask yourself:

Did the immigration officer give me a NEW 90 day reporting slip with a new date on it?

IF that answer is yes, they DID reset your 90 day reporting and you use that receipt for the date of your next report

IF that answer is no, they DID NOT reset your 90 day reporting and you use the receipt you had in your passport and do your report like normal

As a rule getting an extension doesn't reset the 90 days <- unless as I said, they give you a new 90 day report receipt.

So the answer is, if you did not get a new 90 day report receipt and you missed reporting on the date of the receipt you have you are now late to report ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
