I got a new passport and need to transfer the stamps over to a new passport.
Is there any cost associated with this?
What's the process?
Anyone open to sharing their experience?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer visa stamps from an old passport to a new one in Thailand, you need to visit the main immigration office at Chaengwattana in Bangkok. Ensure you have the necessary form filled out and submit any required copies as noted on the form. According to user experiences, there is no cost associated with this process if you obtained your extension of stay in Bangkok.
As long as you got your extension of stay issued in Bangkok you go out to the main immigration office at Chaengwattana to get the stamps transferred to the new passport
You need to have this form filled out and the copies listed on the back of it

I am about to do this stamp transfer into a new passport too. Marriage EoS in Suphanburi. But what about the TM30 & latest TM47, both of which bear the old passport number - do they also have to be updated or are the existing ones OK?
re-file the TM30 so it has the new passport number and you'll have to file the next 90 day report in person to get the new passport number into their 90 day system
They WILL transfer the re-entry permit IF you bought the re-entry at Chaengwattana. After you get the extension stamp moved, you have to GO to the section that sells re-entry C-2 and get it transferred there ๐
right that's because you were most likely on an extension of stay based on retirement <- that is the one that they usually ask for a bank book update on
