TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about delays in obtaining their yearly non-B visa extension, suggesting it may be due to recent leadership changes at immigration. Comments highlighted that delays could vary by immigration office, potentially relate to the agent's processes, and mentioned stricter checks in certain locations like Samui.

Changes to some locations.. Samui is having a few audits and everything checked very strictly.

Even getting documents sent to Surat Thani they have said that there is a new boss and they are making their own changes ..

Probably means the bent IO the agent was using has been found out

I smell that a delay rather is connected to the agent you are using
