I have a couple questions regarding Non-B Visas.
Is it possible to have a Non-B Visa without a work permit? Is it possible to have a long term non-b visa and no work permit?
For example, I have a non B that expires on 1 December and I am applying for a work permit with which I will get a one-year non-b.
If I cancel my work permit, can I still get my non-b renewed after 90 days?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-B Visa can be obtained without a work permit, as it is typically issued outside Thailand and can be extended based on employment once in the country. However, if someone holds a long-term Non-B visa or a multiple-entry Non-B visa, understanding the relationship between this visa type and work permits is crucial, especially if the work permit is cancelled, which could affect visa status.
