When you have proper visa its allowed - only on visa exemption its not allowed. But its all about immigration officer - I agree - saying that - I didn’t had problems in the past - just I’m always asking them if I can come back same day before going for my coffee/dinner and inform them I have normal visa - then nobody cares and they are ok with it.🙂
Well basic rule of 6 months tourist visa is you have to leave country every 60 days - you cross border - drink coffee and come back same day - as you have normal visa nobody care and you dont pay for agency - recommend in future to google things before asking stupid questions.
the 24h is for visa exception - if you have proper visa (6-months tourist, dtv, you name it) they will let you go - or if you have no history of border runs same year too to be honest (happened to me) - yeah that was my favorite road for border run on my 6months tourist visa every 6 months - if you like sleeping in the train its perfect - sleeper - visa - dinner - sleeper - hello bkk.
i have not had dtv back then even - i was jus polite and ask imigration at border if i can come back same day or should book room for a night - they told me its ok - so i grab dinner and catched train to bkk :)))) so 100% agree here with you - bizarre post
mate just go on your own - make this route myself - no problems with immigration - no need to pay them - you can take 50 thb train from hat yai to the border, cross, eat dinner and come back next train :)
yeah visa rules from the start were not clear about the topic - if visa can be revoked if soft power activity will finish - from the start - make stupid decisions get stupid prices 😉 so I disagree - it’s only applicant responsibility to make his life choices work in environment he is living in. For sure it’s not mine - and how the Thai immigration work is another story that we do not control so why bother in complaining about it?
