What happens if I overstay my 60-day Visa exempt in Thailand by 1 day?

It would be best to go to immigration around day 55 to get an extension for 30 days. Pay the fee. Or you can pay the 500 baht for overstaying.

The multiple entry tourist visa may an option. It lasts 90 days, but you can spread that over 6 months.
