ok thanks for that , I did suspect that would be case , earlier in the year when we came in on the 60 waiver the io did ask for onward travel and showed them our flight home in 85 days (explained 30 day extension) and they were fine with that , so wondered if evisa was the same

Ok I’m not sure why everyone makes a big deal out of this , personally I don’t know if my landlord files a tm30 but just go to the local immigration office and fill in a change of address form , hand them a copy of my lease and they staple a slip in my passport , when we went to Vietnam and back and staying at the same house I just popped along and filled one in and got the slip again , no issues or problems no queries on why the landlord didn’t file etc and only took 20 mins to do

When we got our setv (uk) online when didn’t put a return flight at all , we just noted in additional info box that we may extend an extra 30 days and as we were possibly going to be travelling to another Asian country we didn’t know from where we would be travelling back from , they were fine with that and didn’t query it , our airline (emirates) didn’t question it either as we had a visa

Yea they day you land is day 1 you leave on day 30 you technically can leave day 31 if your flight is at 1 am etc as long as you pass through immigration before midnight

we did think about the 90 day but didn’t really know what our travel plans would be to put in the application and we only wanted to spend around 6 months here to escape the Scottish weather and return for the warmer weather and biking season then come back November again
