Go online and get a Wise account. Not sure about how much you want to transfer or their limits, but I’ve found them the easiest to transfer to and from Australia. Less fees.

Is there a maximum amount you can transfer through Wise to Kasikorn bank account? Buying land.

I think your daughter needs to be included on the family book in Thailand. You have to be in Thailand to do this. The embassy in London should be able to confirm the requirements. Emails are usually quicker.

2 hour video, then a few easy questions online. 1 hour video to renew license. Did mine last month. Easy.

Most of my friends who are long term residents that are married are on retirement visas rather than marriage visas. Way less paperwork and conditions.

no difference. Did the same. They still asked me if I had completed it. Didn’t ask to see it, already knew I had.

Apply for the visa at a Thai embassy or consulate in Australia. They will give you all the information you need to make the application as seamless as possible. My advice would be to shop around and get medical insurance in Thailand. Extremely risky not to have it. If something sudden happens and you can’t get air lifted back to Australia, it can be ridiculously expensive. Something as simple as a mosquito bite or a car accident can have dire consequences. Good luck.
