Keep in mind that even if you book through an agency, the agency is not who actually issues the flight &ticket. They're just the middleman for booking. Regardless you have to get your actual ticket through the airline itself. So as many people have mentioned here, go to the airline site or customer service directly 4 e-tickets.

why would you need to show an onward ticket if you're on a DTV Visa? ( unless you actually aren't on one)

1. Your statement is correct. Every DTV tourist has to do the 90-day report. (If you're never in the country for 90 days then, obviously this wouldn't be required).

2. Do not believe any advice telling you that this isn't necessary on a DTV and that it doesn't matter. I know a mom who has lived in Thailand since she was a teen, had a proper visa, but was not allowed to re-enter because her agency failed to file her 90-day report. These things are immigration officer discretion and this officer chose to be harsh beyond reason. The point is, officers can see your 90 day reporting record.

This answer is more smug than helpful. While the amount may be insured, it certainly has not prevented problems with sudden freezes without notice, and some have reported missing funds due to glitches. These problems have been international news recently with attorneys and news media based in Thailand also ringing the alarm.
