Officially can have 2 visa exempt entries each calendar year. But many have done it more than that in a single year.

If you are wanting to do this every year for the foreseeable future, I'd recommend waiting at least 6 months per entry.

If you are just going this year, doesn't matter. Leave for a day and return to Thailand the day after if you wish.

Edit: oh i see METV is only a bank account balance of $2,000 US. No big deal for that. Bigger issue would be about the employment information. Officially I'm a self employed contractor with grubhub and uber, not sure how to meet "pls provided business license or business registration indicating the applicant’s name." requirement

I'm not familiar with METV. Is there a certain bank account balance that must be maintained? Main reason why I'm waiting for DTV. My region would be the embassy in Chicago

that sucks since currently don't have enough cash for DTV (working on it). For 2025 I already went to Thailand for a 15 day trip last month. Planning on doing another 15 days in December. Think will be pressured for a Visa next trip? Think the days are for each entry, but since I usually am only in Thailand for 30 days each full year it hasn't been a concern for me.
