. Back in the day they wouldn’t even let you go without paying a ‘fine’ on spot but they can’t legally do that now even though they do try.

Those tickets do stay on a system though, and if you lived and worked here or retired here it would resurface if the Police put it in the system when you go to tax the bike later on. Whoever ‘owns’ the bike will end up paying it at some point if it goes for its yearly tax.

, it is not necessary wheelchair friendly, but it does depend also on how dependent the person is with a wheelchair, and where you intend to go.

I pushed guests (I work here Thailand in travel) around Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam a few years back, when it was much more difficult than now. So it is possible but not advised.

Something to also know which maybe helpful for travellers here. You can hire wheelchairs from private hospitals if necessary across SE Asia or buy them fairly cheaply and sell or donate them to hospitals before you leave, if you need them due to an accident or don’t want to bring one from home.

Bangkok Bank have been doing this for years but only at certain branches, so you need to find out which ones are doing it now - not all will, even if the same bank.

The fastest way is pay for fast track before you arrive. Your luggage and you will be out quick anytime day or night.

Minor group of hotels have just announced they are hiking rates across their hotels to claw back investment and promotions they had here during Covid.

Agoda and Booking they are also all adding to the ‘charges’ hotels make with their charges to advertise hotels, not to mention if you book through a site you can have a lot of issues if you need to make changes.

Personally I would stick to booking direct and asking them to include any added extras like wifi, breakfast, late check out, early check in for free.

I can only speak for in Bangkok this year, but having been in Thailand years, immigration love paper, so I would take a copy of it as you will likely if they ask for it, need to sign it.

100 % ask for the TM30. I got asked for mine this morning at IT Square Laksi, and they were turning people away who didn’t have it. Wherever you are staying can do it online for you, and print it out for you. Also take a printed copy of your passport and the arrival stamp page in your passport. Take a pen as well and 1 passport photograph.

Floor 3 at IT Laksi Square. You will be asked to fill in 3 forms.

Someone will check your forms, before you see the immigration officer.

If you need any printouts or passport photos right next to the immigration office are two photo and copy places open the same hours as immigration.

I just filed my 90 day at MT. In and out in under 20 mins. The ques are getting bigger than in recent weeks, but if you go in the morning you will be in and out quickly.
