You need a tourist visa through the Thai Embassy in Sydney or Canberra apparently Sydney is the best to use no e-visa available for Australians. Takes a couple of months to get. I’m going to get visa exemption 30 day stamp on arrival then pay 1900 baht at the immigration office to extend for 30 days.
