Hi, and thankyou in advance,

Like to fly to Thailand in June on Australian Passport,

What is easy for me to stay in Thailand for 60 days ,, ?

Enter Thailand via Airline and get a 30 no- visa stamp then go to immigration centre at Bangkok Airport,

And ask for another extra 30 day, stay in Thailand, for 1,900 baht , Or get a E- Visa before l come to Thailand, ?

Thankyou for your understanding

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian passport holder can stay in Thailand for 60 days by entering on a 30-day visa exemption stamp and then extending their stay by another 30 days at an immigration office instead of the airport. Although initially mentioned, the e-visa may not be available for Australians according to some commenters. Getting a tourist visa before travel is considered more convenient and cost-effective compared to obtaining a visa exemption and then extending it. It's essential to have the required TM30 form from the hotel for seamless processing when visiting the immigration office.

When going to Thailand for 31 - 60 ( 90 )days, the 60 days touristvisa is the best option.

It is cheaper than visaexcempt + 30 days extension.

No need of a onward ticket ( 90 days 1 onward ), if returnticket within 60 days.

It is easier to apply from the comfort of your home.

thaievisa.go.th

Not wasting holiday time to find, go to and waiting at a immigration office ( 90 you would need that ).

No need to leave Thailand in up to 90 days

Get TR visa via Embassy/ Consulate go to their website for info .Some have said Evisa is now possible. TR 60 visa gives you 60 days as name implies .

Get the visa exempt stamp when you arrive, check into your hotel in Bangkok, unless you are flying into somewhere else, and the next day go to the immigration office at the IT Square at the LakSi BTS station. On the third floor you can get your 30 day extension, then you are done with it all. Just make sure the hotel, or wherever you check into has filed the required TM30. Ask them for a copy of it before you go out to avoid any questions about it, as that would be the only stumbling block and delay if it hadn't been filed within the 24 hours after you arrive.

Get the Tourist evisa. Saves a trip to Immigration and any hassle in Aussie with onward travel

You need a tourist visa through the Thai Embassy in Sydney or Canberra apparently Sydney is the best to use no e-visa available for Australians. Takes a couple of months to get. I’m going to get visa exemption 30 day stamp on arrival then pay 1900 baht at the immigration office to extend for 30 days.

You cannot get an extension at the airport. You would go to an immigration office for an extension.

An extension costs more and takes more time than getting a tourist visa before you travel.
