. So he only has to show both passports. But sure they will find some space in the old passport, don’t you think so? In any way, does he not have to go to an immigration office then? It is most convenient to find the easiest solution.

"Where to apply’ is for extension only. Initially, you have an exemption, after which you can go to any immigration division. There is likely space for one exit stamp when leaving the country, and afterward, you can use your new passport.

. Your old passport normally should be valid longer than the 2 months tourist exemption period. Wasn’t that the case? Why had you a new passport sent over?

If you have tr visa which will be allowed you to stay 60 days in Thailand and you can extend 30 days more at Thai immigration office.

If you enter 30 days without visa, you can not extend your stay in Thailand.
