i haven't ignored the information. I have received it, processed it, understood the similarities and pointed out the differences in both scenarios - as they are different. Its called dialogue.

they haven't asked for a new flight. The only information they have is that my flight is scheduled for today. The scenario is different. This is my last response. Thanks

thanks. That post you refer to was relating to a flight in the future. My flight, as of today is in the past , so I do think its a slightly different scenario.
