. This has always been the correct procedure across all application forms I’ve ever submitted in Thailand and abroad. Never caused me one issue, so I find what those people are saying very difficult to believe. There must be something else at play here.

Whenever I've submitted any application form that asks for 'Place of Issue,' I've always entered the information listed under 'Authority,' as shown in this example, and it has never caused me any issues. Therefore, I’m confident that the application for the DTV visa should be no different!

 well, there must have been some incorrect data in there otherwise they wouldn’t have rejected it based on the given reasoning. Either, an error from your part or maybe a glitch in the system. Did you double, or triple check before submitting ?
