Our businesses have multiple Directors and shareholders including myself. I got my Wokcation DTV as an employee of the company.

You can submit:

- copy of certificate of incorporation

- payslips from company to yourself

- personal bank statements with salary highlighted

- SATR 2024-2025 (due Jan 2026 so should be available). You can get a copy of the SATR from your accountant and sign it. It does not need to be submitted yet as they’re submitted online to HMRC.

- covering letter from accountant detailing date of incorporation, business activity, clients outside of Thailand, and your role as an employee. Management accounts from accountant would be a bonus.

Please note your own covering letters and how you submit the documentation is important as that will help the consulate officer understand the documentation and your circumstances.

You can use AI to help you draft a covering letter explaining why you want to apply for the DTV. Attach this to the beginning of your bank statements.

Then you need another covering letter before your bank statements to help them understand the savings held, and list your monthly salary. Attach your payslips after your bank statements.

I did mine in Vientiane, Laos, and submitted the following. But everyone’s circumstances are different which is why you have many different opinions on here.

My Supporting Documents:

1. Biodata page of Passport (online portal)

2. Photograph taken within the last six months (online portal)

3. Financial evidence: (online portal)

an amount of no less than 500,000 THB in a savings account for over 3 months:

- Current UK bank account showing monthly salary receipts

- Monthly payslips from (company)

- Self assessment tax return for 2025

- Employment contract or employment certificate:

- Certificate of Incorporation for (company)

- Confirmation of Employment and Funded Leave dated September 2018 (I was receiving salary whilst in Thailand since 2018 but not working).

- Employment Contract dated November 2025

- Employment Confirmation dated November 2025

- (Employer) Passport copy - signed by them

- Leaseholder’s confirmation to stay in their property (also attached copy of their passport and Thai ID card - signed by them)

- Leasehold Agreement

Document indicating current location:

- Laos entry permit in passport

- Agoda receipt for hotel booking

- (hotel) receipts
