Change your verification processes to email not phone. Get Thai plan. Mines $7.5 a month.

Make sure the devices you are bringing are known by the banks etc. let them know your overseas 6 month travelling holiday. ( I know your not but helps transitioning).

Link any accounts to wise or other transfer account

Get a toggle from the bank to assist in overseas transfers and security. I have 1 for BOQ Oz and 1 for Uk bank.

Cancel Direct debits and bills

Get Medicare and update car licence if able too

Forwarding Australian address for Gov matters is best

Declare status at end of tax year to maximise any tax allowance. I.e. initial holiday.

TM30 as where you are living / staying has to be lodged.

Visa from your passport. Take a relative with Thai ID

Try KBank I find them the best but it’s each to their own.

Try yourself if not get an agent.

Can be difficult 😥 to do but that’s the way sometimes here. Amazing Thailand 🇹🇭 lol 😜
