I am married, live far away from "girly bars" in rural Thailand and am bringing up two adopted children with my wife. If the lady thinks she is going to land in Thailand without the least bit of knowledge about the country other than watching re-runs of "The Beach", with two kids in tow, on a teaching English course and no other source of income, no Thai language (you just taught her her first word, ฝรั่ง and it's meaning) , not to mention visas, she is in cloud cuckoo land. And you shouldn't be stereotyping people either or maybe I should be thinking about how YOU got along being a single white female looking to make money in Pattaya. Plenty of them too eh?
