What are the best visa options for UK citizens planning to stay and return to Thailand?

Single entry tourist visa whilst in the UK will give you your 60 days, then just time it so that your trip to 'neighboring counties' ends in Laos and get yourselves another 60 day setv, other options would be just get 30 day visa exempt when you arrive an extending, but the setv is cheaper and generally less hassle if you plan it right
