You could have just written the second sentence, but for some reason it’s common and acceptable for expats to be rude and condescending to each other, first.
We can get 60-day tourist visas in advance, which saves a trip to immigration within the first 30 days, and eliminates a border run until 90 days. It’s true US citizens can’t get VOA’s here, but we can get 1-year VOA’s in Vietnam.. which can be an easy border-run option (by air).
