The TM28 is defunct. I travel a fair bit around Thailand and don't bother doing a new TM30 each time I get home. My local immigration says I only need to do when I leave Thailand and return. But I suppose different offices have different ideas. To be safe I suppose you could do a TM30 prior to a 90 day report "just in case", otherwise I don't think there is a need.

you don't want an overstay in your visa if you intend to come back in the near future

The online form opens as a search page, not a fill in page. the page should look like this, with an approved address. bottom left you can click and a page opens to inform. after filling in you can go back to search page and download a copy - this must be done within 7 days or you cannot download it after that.

If you have that money you can get an O-X visa, 3 million in bank gives 2 x 5 years stay. Can take out half of that after period of time.

Justin Bligh perhaps the records not up to date. I had recently updated everything with DTAC - TRUE when I bought a new phone and needed to move e-sim over.

DTAC now get you to log into the TRUE app (merged companies) for this. As long as your passport is linked to the DTAC number you can download the proof of ownership certificate.

Tap little logo top right and scroll down to 'service certification letter' and download.

Peter Goundry well you know better than the local immigration boss (who I sometimes play golf with). If you do not have Thai citizenship the TM30 is compulsory each time you come in. You once needed to report every time you left your house for more than a day and went to another province, thankfully they ditched that. Anyway, up to you and good luck.

AuthenticAlpaca833 If you visit several places in Thailand no need to do other TM30, just need for stay at your own place. Anytime you leave the country you need a new TM30 on return.

LarbPhed we live in a small village, a few years back cops came knocking wanting to know why I wasn't registered, cost 5k to avoid trouble (5 police, 5k, good maths). Went to local immigration next day and now do online each visit.
