Im waiting for the approval of a 90 day non o visa based on retirement and wondering if i can do my first 90 day report online or if i will have to do it in person (or letter). thanks

Does that mean the first 90 day report for a new visa needs to be done in person first and then can be done online there after?

Thanks Jack. Yeah its a worry that even though we tick all the boxes we're still in limbo. But then again they are protecting the country and possible fake visas so I'm more than willing to comply and finally relax a little. Good luck and please update for everyone, cheers

I just received some new information from a guy doing the same 90 day non-o application based on retirement. He was visited today 3 business days after his application. They called the day before then while visiting they looked at his lease agreement, bank book, passport, had him fill out some more forms and took a photo of him holding them all standing next to the immigration officer. Then they called his landlord, all done in 30 minutes. He said they were all quite pleasant.

I'm also looking at doing the same conversion however I have been rejected from one bank already because I only hold a METV. What were the bank requirements to open an account? Thanks in advance.
