I have been issued an embassy letter from the Australian embassy and was all prepared and booked to go to immigration in Bkk tomorrow. I’ve just read that immigration are stamping passports from the date you go in...I thought they were stamping them to give the 30 day extension from 27th?
Has anyone been to the Muathong Thani office and received a 30 day extension dated from September 27th?
TIA 🙏🏻

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification about the stamping practices at the Muathong Thani immigration office in Thailand regarding a 30-day extension based on an embassy letter from the Australian embassy. There is a concern that the extensions may be dated from the date of application instead of the original date of the request, which is causing confusion. Other users are asking questions about the type of visa and suggesting that the user directly consult immigration with the embassy letter.
Padma's Page I actually just received one also. Thanks for your help and Tod's also! Please let me know how you go at muathong Thani. Hopefully its a full stamp and not an 'under consideration' as I believe that we cannot apply for a 90 day non o visa on that stamp.
Hi Dean, they are issuing on a case by case basis. I contacted them several times re my case and they finally got back to me today. They have indicated that they will not issue me another should my plans go awry 🤣
