is that just for tourist visa though? can I not apply/payfor non immigrant O - MT visa for medical 90 days but can extend to a year in some cases for ongoing surgery /checkups etc? Some people/groups and sites saying yes some saying no and AI the same so slightly confused.

thank you. I am definitely expecting to be questioned by immigration why I am coming back so soon but I’m more than willing to answer whatever they have to ask me honestly.

From the research I have done I can apply/pay for Non immigrant 0-MT visa for 60-90 days for medical purpose and can be renewed upto a year if needed.

Only issue is i don’t know how long my surhery recovery will take so I won’t have an outward flight 90 days roughly later unless I just book one to Vietnam (again) and if I need to cancel/refund it for any unforeseen circumstances woth my surgeries.

I will see where the local Thai immigration is local to where I am.

I just want to know rough cost of visa & timescale so I can get more consultations and appointments booked in.

i havent decided which hospital to treat me yet Thats my only issue I want to come back for more consultations to choose the correct choice for me and my needs.
