Are you ok if you are refused entry at the airport for being unable to show this amount in your bank account? Up to you to take this risk. I personally wouldn't do it.

Anonymous participant I'm sorry, I don't know why you are having such a hard time. I got my DTV workcation visa on first application in Hanoi. I was approved 10 working days after sending in my application on my own (no agent). I wasn't asked to attend an interview, only a clarification of one document (one bank statement did not have my name on it, only bank account number).

Anonymous participant have you done a lot of land border runs before applying for the DTV visa?

Do you have at least 500k THB (13,000 EUR) in your bank account for at least 6 months? If not, another application will also be rejected

I was also approved on first application in Hanoi. Asked once for clarification of bank statement (name was not stated in one of the statements, only bank account number). Then I was sent an email notification for approval a few days later. The whole process took 10 working days.

I applied for my DTV workcation visa in Hanoi. It was approved after 10 working days. No request for interview, or for me to show pages of my passport. The approval was sent to me via email.

My application process was straightforward as I had 500K THB in my bank account for 6 months and a remote job employment contract.

I applied on my own in Hanoi (no agent). Workcation DTV visa approved after 10 working days. No request for interview. I submitted 6 months of bank statements, with starting balance of more than 500K THB, and an increasing balance every month.
